Pechakucha for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

On 9/28/22 I gave a Pechakucha presentation at Narragansett Brewery, to thank and honor all of the medical professionals (all women) – and all of their non-medical support colleagues – whom I met starting on 8/27/21.

The talk was ostensibly about data analysis (in keeping with the “birds eye view” theme).

Pechakucha presentations are exactly 20 slides x 20 seconds each. There was only time to mention the MDs by name, but this was for everyone.

I wasn’t all that prepared with the speech, as most of the work went in to simplifying the story and preparing the slides.

CHAT WITH CHRIS IN MARCH
I first reached out in March…thinking it would be a straightforward presentation to prepare (it wasn’t!). Chris Donovan helped me to craft the story and was a great support.

When this appeared on social media, my slides were nowhere near done.

On the night of the event, they started to drop hints.
Narragansett Brewery was the venue – hence the greeting
